You've got to love a client who sends you home with your very own customized pizzas, fresh-baked breads, and spanikopita. And especially one who keeps your glass filled with Huckleberry lemonade (my friends Dean & Jeri Fiedler are the masterminds behind this refreshing brew.)
If you live in this area, then you already know about The Old Ice House Pizzeria. You can't beat the food and you can't beat the deck for the view of the lake. The drive from Sandpoint - about 12 minutes - is well worth it; and a treat in and of itself. I highly recommend the Greek salad and Thai chicken pizza, but there are so many tasty options, it's hard to pick just one or two. You'll also find Bear at the Sandpoint Farmer's Market on Wednesday and the Hope Farmer's Market on Friday. You can even order Old Ice House Pizzeria specialties through the Six Rivers Market here in Sandpoint.
Bear and I recently updated The Old Ice House Pizzeria website so check it out. Better yet, step away from the keyboard and go there. Enjoy live music up on the deck every Thursday and Sunday all summer long. And be sure to check out Bear's clothing and decorative home goods for sale, collected on his worldwide travels every winter. Tell him Sheryl sent you!
