Schweitzer Magazine 2011-12 hits the stands

I took a well-deserved break from toiling as an online fashionista to write the cover article, 1 Mountain, 3 Ways, for this winter's edition of Schweitzer Magazine. It turned out brilliantly (the design,  I mean) and the final article benefited much, as always, from Billie Jean's (Keokee/Sandpoint Magazine) outstanding editing. The interviewees were great to work with as well; my friends Brett Taylor, Sara Collins, Andy Meyer, and Gary Quinn. OK, it wasn't quite as glamorous as I had envisioned, braving nine miles of unplowed switchbacks up to the Schweitzer Mountain Resort so I could start snow reporting at 4:30 a.m. But somebody had to do it. And somebody had to write about it. Here's my article in the Winter 2010 issue of Sandpoint Magazine.

Sandpoint Magazine, Summer 2005

This article was published in the Summer 2005 issue of Sandpoint Magazine, the premiere regional travel and cultural publication for Northern Idaho. It traces the renovation of the Old Ice House Pizzeria in Hope, Idaho from its Wild West roots to its current state of "funktitude."
